How do I change my settings?
Open the account menu (your picture at the top of the page) and select Settings, or go to Settings. Settings has five tabs: Profile, Account, Notifications, Appearance and Privacy.
Profile
Change your display name, photo, banner, bio and username. See How do I edit my profile and follow people?
Account
Account settings are a list of rows. Select a row to open it.
- Wallets: select Manage wallets to connect wallets, manage wallet sign-in and choose which addresses show on your profile. See How do I connect and verify a wallet?
- Sign-in & security: your sign-in email, connected accounts, password, two-factor authentication and active sessions. See How do I keep my account secure?
- What you see: Content preferences for posts labelled NSFW or sensitive language. See How do I see NSFW or sensitive posts?
- Account controls: sign out of this browser under This session, or close your account. See How do I close my account?
Notifications
Turn each kind of in-app notification on or off, and set up Reply emails. Changes save as you go. See How do notifications work?
Every reply email has a link to stop reply emails. It turns off the emails only, not your account or your in-app notifications.
Appearance
Under Theme, choose Light, Dark or System, which matches your device's setting. Light is the default. Your choice saves automatically and applies only to the device you're using, so each browser keeps its own.
You can also switch from the appearance button at the top of the page. On a phone, open the menu and look for Appearance.
Privacy
- Record viewing history: nook keeps the threads you open for 90 days. Only you can see them. Turn this off to pause it.
- See your history: select Open to see every thread you opened in the last 90 days.
- Clear viewing history: select Clear, then Clear again to confirm. This can't be undone.
- Blocked accounts: everyone you've blocked, with Unblock next to each name.
