These terms govern your use of nook's website, iPhone app, accounts and communities. The privacy policy explains how information is handled, and the community rules explain conduct expected across nook.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13, meet any higher minimum age required where you live, and be legally permitted to use the service. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must give permission and accept responsibility for supervising your use. Adult-only areas require you to be at least 18. Do not misrepresent your age or evade age restrictions.
Provide accurate information where required, keep sign-in credentials secure, and use only accounts and wallets you are authorized to control. Do not share private keys, recovery phrases or passwords with other members or with nook. Contact us if you believe your account was compromised.
Community conduct
Follow nook's community rules and any stricter lawful rules a community publishes. Harassment, threats, hate directed at people, child exploitation, nonconsensual intimate material, doxxing, deceptive impersonation, scams, malware, spam and evasion of safety restrictions are prohibited. Do not post content you lack permission to share. An adult label never permits exploitation, illegal content or harassment.
You can report content and block accounts using the available controls. nook and authorized moderators may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts or close communities to enforce the rules, address safety concerns or comply with law. Responses depend on severity and context; serious abuse can result in immediate action. Do not make knowingly false reports or organize harassment through the report system.
To appeal a decision, email usenookprotocol@gmail.com with the affected username, community or content link and a short explanation. Share only information needed for review. nook is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.
Your content
You retain the rights you have in your content. You give nook a non-exclusive permission to store, reproduce, format, transmit and display it as needed to operate, secure and moderate the service, subject to your community's access settings. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant that permission. We do not take ownership of your work.
Public content can be copied or indexed outside nook. Access controls cannot prevent an authorized reader from copying information. Decide carefully before sharing sensitive information about yourself or others.
Content and account deletion are handled as described in the privacy policy. Current authored content can become a content-free placeholder to preserve conversation structure. Restricted records retained for the stated purposes, copies others made and public blockchain records can outlast removal from active nook pages.
Communities and verified status
Owners and moderators must apply their community rules consistently with these terms and respond to safety concerns. Before deleting an account that owns a community, transfer ownership to keep the community open or separately confirm its closure. The deletion flow identifies affected communities and requires current confirmation.
A badge, ownership verification or paid feature means only the status nook describes. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee that a person, project, community or financial asset is safe, accurate or valuable. Never imply that a nook badge guarantees an investment return.
Paid features
The purchase interface identifies the feature, price, applicable taxes, and whether the payment is one-time or recurring before you confirm. Only purchase options actually offered are available. Website payments use Stripe; App Store purchases, when available, use Apple's payment system.
Premium subscriptions renew for the period shown at checkout until canceled. Manage website subscriptions through nook's billing controls. Manage Apple subscriptions through your Apple Account or the app's subscription-management link. Cancel before the next renewal under the payment provider's displayed terms if you do not want another charge.
A one-time community purchase applies to the selected community. Purchase access is associated with the relevant nook account or community; signing into a different account does not transfer it. Use Restore Purchases for eligible Apple purchases. If confirmation fails, contact support or use restore before buying the same access again.
Deleting an app or account does not automatically issue a refund or cancel an Apple subscription. Where account deletion presents a separate website-billing cancellation choice, review and confirm it. Apple handles App Store refund requests. For website-payment problems or refund requests, contact usenookprotocol@gmail.com. We review them under applicable law and the terms shown at purchase. These terms do not remove non-waivable refund or consumer rights.
Do not use the service to facilitate fraud, manipulate payment disputes, sell prohibited goods or bypass provider restrictions. Material changes to paid features or terms will receive notice where appropriate or required by law.
Wallet features and external services
Wallet linking requires an ownership message through a supported provider. Holdings are read-only views of public data and can be delayed, incomplete or unavailable. nook does not take custody of assets or execute a blockchain transaction through its holdings display. Posts and wallet displays are not personalized financial advice.
External sites and sign-in, payment or wallet providers have their own terms. Follow their authorization prompts carefully. A link or member's recommendation does not make an external service a nook partner or endorsement.
Availability, closure and changes
We work to keep nook useful and reliable, but interruptions and changes can occur. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or that member content is accurate. Nothing here excludes a responsibility or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You can stop using nook and request account deletion from account settings. Necessary record-retention and dispute obligations continue only as described in these terms, the privacy policy and applicable law. We will update the effective date and provide notice when appropriate for material changes. You can contact us about a change or stop using the service.
iPhone license and contact
The iPhone application uses Apple's Standard End User License Agreement unless a different valid license is expressly supplied through App Store Connect. These terms cover nook's service and do not replace Apple's payment terms.
Send support requests, moderation appeals, privacy concerns or content-rights notices to usenookprotocol@gmail.com. For a content-rights complaint, identify the material, its location and your relationship to the rights involved. Do not include unnecessary personal information. nook is operated from the United States. Nothing in these terms limits protections that apply under the law where you live.
